The area is a lush wonderland of natural forest where you can bush walk, picnic, see Lyrebirds, hear kookaburras laughing and visit the boutique shops and cafes/restaurants of the quaint villages of Olinda, Mt Dandenong, Sassafras, Kallista, Belgrave, Monbulk, Gembrook and others dotted around the Dandenongs. The view from the top is great too at Sky High, with 180 degree views over Melbourne.
A popular thing to do for couples treating themselves to a relaxing treatment here is to take off after to the Olinda Botanical Gardens just down the road and laze in the beautiful botanical space. Or for those of you who get a bit peckish after a massage, there are the cafes across the road.
